Working Antique Oak Cider Press and Scratter with Lister Engine. The scratter is powered by a water cooled petrol lister engine (i believe it could also be powered by the PTO from a tractor with the right attachment) and two belts which turn the wheel and the drum. It takes less than an hour to turn one and a half tonnes of apples to pulp ready for pressing. The press has a large wooden tray on which you build the cheese using separate hessian hairs of which there are 8 in reasonable condition and two that have holes (this does not stop them being used at all). The press is currently stored in a barn in North Oxfordshire, the last time it was used was last November when we pressed 120 gallons of cider with just over a ton of apples. The Press is approximately 12ft tall and weighs around quarter of a tonne, you will need a trailer and something to lift it off at the other end or lots of people! I do know someone with a large trailer who could deliver it for a fee.
